Venue Programming & Partnership Activation
Midtown Toast was developed to support the reopening and reactivation of the AC Lounge at the Midtown location following a temporary closure due to post-pandemic traffic decline. While the lounge had reopened operationally, the space appeared closed to both guests and passersby—lacking visible energy, local presence, and consistent foot traffic.
The Robinson House introduced Midtown Toast as a weekly activation designed to bring locals into the space, create visible activity, and reintroduce the lounge as a place to gather. By intentionally filling the space with people—eating, socializing, and sharing on social platforms—the lounge began to feel active and open, encouraging organic traffic from hotel guests and visitors moving through the lobby.
The activation ran for six consecutive weeks, resulting in consistent engagement from both local audiences and hotel guests. In addition to programming, The Robinson House implemented feedback collection through custom Google Forms, gathering insights from guests on food, experience, and atmosphere. This data was shared with the hotel team to support menu optimization and inform future venue development planning.
